Paulina man on state Parkway Commission

BATON ROUGE – Today, Gov. Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Seth Bourgeois of Paulina to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission of Louisiana.

Bourgeois is a customer relations representative with Quality Machine Manufacturing, Inc., a rotating equipment parts manufacturing company. Bourgeois will serve as a resident of a parish bordering the Mississippi River, as required by statute.

The Mississippi River Parkway Commission of Louisiana is an affiliate of the National Mississippi River Parkway Planning Commission and serves to advise and assist the national commission in promoting and developing the Great River Road.

Also appointed to the commission was Nita Lepp of Baton Rouge, who is a retired claims representative with the Social Security Administration. Lepp will serve as a resident of a parish bordering the Mississippi River, as required by statute.
