LSU will have a walk-thru at the Georgia Dome on Tuesday afternoon for its final on-field preparations for 14th-ranked Georgia Tech. The Tigers and the Yellow Jackets square off at 7:30 p.m. EST tonight at the Georgia Dome. The game will be televised by ESPN.
In keeping with recent LSU tradition, the Tigers’ final practice of bowl week had the players switching jerseys with their teammates. Some of the more interesting jersey switches had Trindon Holliday wearing Herman Johnson’s No. 79 jersey during the workout, while starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson and starting center Brett Helms wore each others uniform.

“It’s become a tradition and its fun for us to change jerseys with our teammates for what is our final practice together,” Herman Johnson said of the jersey switch on Monday.
Other highlights on Monday had the Tigers taking part in two different visits to local hospitals. A large contingent of Tigers spent nearly two hours at the Scottish Rite Children’s Medical Center on Monday morning. Then, head coach Les Miles, along with Herman Johnson, Tyson Jackson and Quinn Johnson spent time with children at the Hughes Spalding Medical Center.
Monday also had the LSU coordinators along with running back Charles Scott and defensive end Kirston Pittman meeting with members of the media in a formal press conference.
Following practice, the Tigers spent two hours at the Fire of Brazil, here in downtown Atlanta where the team was treated to as much streak, chicken, lamb and pork that they could possibly eat.
The day was capped off by a trip to the Georgia Aquarium where the Tigers were able to taken in the world’s largest aquarium with over eight million gallons of water.
