Ascension of Our Lord 4-H contest winners named

Four 4H members of Ascension of Our Lord School recently participated in the 4-H Food focus Contest that was held at the Andouille Festival. Jeffrey Millet placed 2nd in the Ground Beef division in the 1dish meal category with his lasagna dish. John Campbell placed 1st in the Seafood division in the Crab category with his Crab Meat Dip. Trey McCoy won 2 awards as both his Chicken Spaghetti placed 3rd in the Poultry division and his Shrimp and Corn Chowder placed first in the Seafood/Shrimp division. Brittney Champagne Placed 1st in the Seafood division in the Crawfish category with her Crawfish over rice dish.
