Amedee Joseph “Boe” Boe Jr. passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at the age of 78. He was a resident of Lutcher and a native of Reserve. He is survived by his children and their spouses: Barbara and Ronald Troxclair, Sylvia and John Clark, C.J. and Lisa Bourgeois Boe, Penny and Clyde Schexnayder and Brenda Boe and Dexter Millet. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and his sisters: Hazel Landry, Irma St. Pierre, and Doris Boe.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Mae LeBlanc Boe, his Mother, Claudia Waguespack Boe, Father, Amedee J. Boe, Sr., a sister, Amelia (MeMe) Curtiss and a grandson, Rhett Schexnayder.

Taylor
Rev. Arthur Taylor, a retired World War II Veteran, age 86, departed this life at D’Ville House Nursing Home in Donaldsonville on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Husband of Feliska Stewart Taylor. Father of Mavis (Robert) Johnson of Baton Rouge, Allen Harris of Abend, La., Rev. Thomas (Loma) Walters of Dallas, Ga., Lena T. (Lester) Ketchens of Vacherie and the late Rev. Thomas (Eula) Murray of Donaldsonville.
Visitation and services were held on Friday, October 10, at the First Baptist Church in Vacherie. Interment in Church Cemetery.
