Serious Crash on I-55
Jassyna Rojas Pacheto of Miami, Fla. (top right) was the driver of a 1993 Honda Accord with Iowa license plates, apparently heading through the area on Thursday as he got into a serious crash on I-55 South, near the Manchac exit. Johnny Bonds of Ponchatoula was driving his Chevrolet pickup, and said he had a car in front of him move out of the right lane where he was driving, only for Bonds to see Pacheto’s Accord sitting, stopped in the road. Bonds stopped the best he could, and avoided injury himself, but plowed into Pacheto’s car, injuring all three passengers in the vehicle. No report on their condition was available as of press time.
