Lionel Aubert Jr. at his sister’s residence in Garyville at 10:30 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2008. Son of the late Lionel Aubert Sr. and Laura Batiste Aubert. Husband of Victoria Johnson Aubert. Stepfather of Alisha (Damion) Claiborn and Christopher (Sherrie) Lee. Brother and brother-in-law of Geraldine and Melvin Sanders, Harold and Velma Aubert Sr. and the late Romalst and Louis Aubert Sr. Also survived by one step-granddaughter, Christian Lee, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, Betty Clayton, Edwina White, Linda, Janice and Alonzo Johnson Jr., father-in-law, Alonzo Johnson, Sr., and mother-in-law, the late Gloria Johnson. Age 61.
Visitation and services were held at Israelite Baptist Church in Lutcher on Friday, August 1. Interment in Zion Traveler’s Cemetery in Garyville.

Isaac “Boy” Cador was born to the union of Kador and Corrine Cador on January 25, 1923. He served in the army during World War II in 1943. Isaac lived in New Orleans then later moved to LaPlace with his family where they resided for 20 years. They later moved to Bueche, La. Isaac departed his life on July 26, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge.
He was a member of the New Wine Christian Fellowship Church in LaPlace under the leadership of Pastor Neil Bernard until he moved his place of worship to the Greater St. Luke Baptist Church, where he attended faithfully until his death.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Lucille Brown Cador; four daughters, Flora Dunn, Emelda Kador, Tenika James, and Le’Keisha (William) Moore; two brothers, Robert (Rose Mary) Kador, and Melvin Cador; five sisters, Velina (Gustave) Gremillion, Geraldine (Henry) Belezaire, Louvenia (Sam) Watkins, Marie (Roger) Jospeh, and Mary Dedrick; four brother-in- law, Lionel (Delores) Brown, Raymond, Freddie Charles, and Howard Brown; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma Demoulin Cador; daughter, Patsy Cador Holmes; father, Kador Cador; mother, Corrine Samuel Cador; three brothers, George, Expert, and Walter Cador; two sisters, Ida Cador Joseph and Georgiana Cador Frederick.
A memorial service was held , Friday, August 1, at Greatest St. Luke Baptist Church in Ventress, La. The dismissal will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 2.
