“I am eager to work cooperatively with parish, district and state level officials including other extension faculty,” Clifton commented.
Clifton attended LSU and graduated as a Paralegal in 1995. In 1996, she attended Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2000. She then decided to further her education and attended Southern University New Orleans and received her master’s degree in social work in 2002.

Clifton was on the National Dean’s List in 1999. She was on the College Dean’s List in the spring and fall of 1998 and spring of 1999. She placed second in the Louisiana Association of Minority Presenters (LAMP) in 2000. She also presented a research paper at the 2001 NASW-LA Annual Conference during graduate school.
