Clarification on Planning and Zoning Story

Published/Last Modified on Friday, July 11, 2008 5:27 PM CDT

Carl Baloney of Garyville has asked for some clarification involving a meeting he attended on Monday of this week, when he was asked to leave.

Baloney got into a heated exchange at the St. John Planning and Zoning Meeting and was finally asked to leave by the officials in charge.

L’Observateur reported that Baloney was asked to leave by two deputies on hand; however, Baloney wanted it made clear that he was asked to leave by the officials leading the meeting.

Baloney is the husband of Geri Baloney, chairperson for the Garyville Incorporation Committee.
