There will be a girls’ fastpitch softball tournament at Reserve Recreation Park on July 26 & 27, hosted by the Riverside Academy Extra Inning baseball club. Entry fee is $150, pay at the plate for umpire. Each team will play three games minimum. Age groups include 8 & under (coaches pitch), 10 & under, 12 & under and 14 & under (all fast pitch). Great Spillway Classic to happen July 20
The 21st annual Great Spillway Classic Trail Run is going to happen Sunday, July 20. It is a 3-mile trail run, at the Bonnet Carre Spillway in Norco. It is the second largest trail run in the nation. At 8 a.m., the race will begin. At 7 a.m., race day registration and packet pickup opens. Entry fee before July 14 is $22. All afterwards will be $25. Entrants will receive an event T-shirt. HEAT holding football
registration July 13-18
