Brook Vicknair, a senior at Comeaux High School in Lafayette, along with her 11 teammates recently received superior ratings at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Dance Camp at Southeastern University. She has been with the Spartan high school dance team for four years. Brook has also recently graduated from June’s Dancers dance school of Lafayette after 13 years of dance. She plans to return to her dance school as a teacher next year. Upon graduation from Comeaux, she will attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in education. She is the daughter of Troy and Renee Vicknair of Lafayette and granddaughter Gene and Marlene Vicknair of LaPlace.
