Lemoine, Bougeois pair are top winners at Frisco Fest Cook Off

GARYVILLE -- A Chef’s Choice Cook Off Contest was held on Sunday, March 2 at  the 5th Annual San Francisco Plantation Frisco Fest.

Sixteen great cooks participated in the seafood, meat, appetizer and dessert categories.  

Mickey & Harriet Bourgeois’ Seafood Stuffed Pasta won Judges’ Overall Selection and Mickey LeMoine’s Crawfish Bisque won the People’s Choice Award.  The other winners were as follows:

SEAFOOD CATEGORY

1st – Mickey Bourgeois- Seafood Stuffed Pasta– Sponsored by Louisiana Scrap Metal

2nd - Mickey LeMoine – Crawfish Bisque – GEO Field Services

3rd – Garland Landry – Red Fish Courtbillion – Betz Chemicals

2nd –Chris Jacob / Chip Dupuy – Chicken Port & Sausage Jambalya – Cajun Deep Foundation

3rd – Dwane Steib – Pastalaya – Turner Industries

2nd – Thad Foreman – Lima Bean Soup – Turner Industries

1ST – Chris Jacob / Chip Dupuy – Cheesecake
