Clinton makes LaPlace stop
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton made an unexpected stop in LaPlace on Friday morning, pulling into Bully’s Halfway House on Highway 51, as a quick stop between a speaking engagement earlier in the morning at Dillard University, and campaign stops later in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, as he stumped for Hillary Clinton, and the upcoming Louisiana primary vote this Saturday. Clinton’s stop in LaPlace was at the request of local attorney Danny Becnel, who has led the fundraising in Louisiana for Hillary, and has been actively involved in all phases of the Clinton campaign.
