It has been two years since Hurricane Katrina and the plantationstill finds itself operating only at 35% of our pre-Katrina business. Our Arts & Crafts Festival is a major fundraiser for Oak Alley Foundation. All monies raised will go toward the preservation, upkeep and maintenance of Oak Alley Plantation, a National Historic Landmark, which is a non-profit foundation.
Theree will be over 120 booths of juried artist and crafters from throughout the United States. Some coming from as far away as Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Tennessee, to as close as Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, and our own local artisans from Louisiana.

A wide variety of delicious local cuisine will be on hand. Such dishes as, seafood pasta, chicken and shrimp-on-a-stick, crawfish …touffée, eggplant with crawfish sauce, corn, crab & shrimp soup, Turkey legs, fried soft shell crabs, crab cakes, crawfish boats, red beans, chicken and beef gyros, BBQ brisket, pulled pork sandwiches and fresh hog cracklin.
And for that sweet tooth: fudge demonstrations cooked in a kettle and then pour onto a marble slab to cool, pralines prepared and cooked and poured in front of you, bread pudding with praline sauce, funnel cakes, kettle corn, cotton candy and much more to excite your taste buds. Don't forget about the lemonade stand, beer, daiquiris, Bloody Mary's and of course, our famous MINT JULEPS!
Admission to the festival (mansion visits not included) is as follows: $5 - 13 years & over; $2 - 6 to 12 years; Free - 5 years & under.
Admission proceeds from the festival will be used for the preservation, upkeep and maintenance of Oak Alley Plantation, a National Historic Landmark, which is owned and operated by a private, non-profit foundation.
