RESERVE - In an effort to improve academic success for students of the St. John Parish School System, the school board recently approved a reorganization plan for its staff members.
According to St. John School Superintendent Michael Coburn the main goal for the reorganizational plan is to increase focus on curriculum, instruction and testing.

The school system also plans to add two truancy officer positions and add a disciplinarian at Garyville / Mt. Airy Magnet School.
Staff changes at area schools include - East St. John Elementary, Linda King and Shirley Trench, assistant principals; LaPlace Elementary, Margaret Hastings, acting principal; Juanita Hill, assistant principal; Rosalind Davis, acting assistant principal; West St. John High, Erica Griffin, principal; Stacy Bradford, assistant principal; and St. John Developmental Center, Jacqueline Forest, early childhood / LA4 Program / Head Start.
