LAPLACE — Supreme Ford of LaPlace is partnering with American Legion Post 383 to benefit youth programs.

The Legion is sponsoring a barbecue cookout from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the dealership property, 555 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace.

Supreme Ford of LaPlace and American Dealership Manager Tony Vitrano says he and his staff are proud of the veterans of St. John Parish, and wish to demonstrate that by hosting a cookout to benefit the Youth Programs of Post 383.

Post Commander Dave Gatt said overwhelming support from the staff at Supreme Ford demonstrates their commitment to better community relations and support for local veterans.

Chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and more will be available for purchase by the public in the dealership parking lot.
