Lela Hill and Alex Miller earned the awards, meaning each receives $1,000 towards their SCC tuition.

The ALL-Star Foundation Scholarship was created by Trosclair, who graduated from St. Charles Borromeo High School in 1977. He was active in sports and clubs and is now CEO of All Star Electric.

Trosclair said he firmly believes his success is attributable to education and strong, dependable teamwork. The scholarship is a way for Trosclair to assist active, hard-working and involved students with their high school tuition.

Trosclair serves at the Alumni Co-Chair for the United in Faith Capital Campaign currently taking place at St. Charles Catholic High School.

Plans are for the scholarship to cover some of the cost of attending St. Charles Catholic High School. One male and one female are recognized each year. The criteria used in awarding this scholarship focused on the demonstration of the student’s development of the mind, body and spirit.

Trosclair presented the award following a schoolwide Mass at St. Charles Catholic High School.
