4th annual Spring Craft Fair nears

DESTREHAN — The St. Charles United Methodist Church will hold their 4th annual Spring Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  March 12.

There will be a variety of concessions for sale, a fun run-walk-bike and an Easter Egg Hunt for children.

The library and fire station will also participate in the day filled activities.

All proceeds go the church food pantry, which works in partnership with Second Harvest.

Church leaders said  the church was able to give out food that fed 8,347 people last year in the St. Charles Parish community.

The Fun run-walk-bike online registration is open until March 6 at $15 per person or $50 per family.

After March 6, the cost is $20 per person or $60 per family.

The event start at 8:30 a.m. at the church, located at 1905 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.

Indoor craft booths are available for $40, outdoor booths are $35 and participants can bring their own pop-up tents.

Electricity availability cost $10, and 2 – 8’ tables are $10 for the set.
