LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives have asked for the public’s help identifying a man responsible for a recent burglary of a local business.

The burglary occurred just before midnight Friday.

Authorities said the suspect is seen in video surveillance driving a dark-colored, late-model Ford Explorer.

Anyone who can identify the man in the video or who has information regarding this burglary is encouraged to call the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office TIPS line at 985-359-TIPS or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

Those who call Crimestoppers do not have to testify and may qualify for a cash reward.
