RESERVE — A delivery man was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night of his cash and pizza, authorities said.

A 19-year-old male victim told deputies he was making a pizza delivery when two male juveniles robbed him sometime after 9:20 p.m. in the 100 block of River Pointe Drive in Reserve.

According to St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre, the victim told investigators he exited his truck with an order when the two perpetrators, one in a red hooded sweatshirt and one in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, approached him.

“One perpetrator pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to drop the pizzas and to empty his wallet,” Tregre said in a release. “After the victim complied with the demands of the perpetrator, the two perpetrators fled on foot with the pizza order and cash from the victim’s wallet.”

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office TIPS line at 985-359-TIPS or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. Those that call Crimestoppers do not have to testify and may qualify for a cash reward.
