Sushi, hibachi options coming to LaPlace

- Work is under way to remodel the soon-to-be opened Fuji restaurant on Airline Highway in LaPlace.
A new eatery is coming to 1922 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace.
Formerly an Arby’s restaurant and before that a Taco Bell, the building will soon be serving Japanese-inspired cuisine.
A menu at the restaurant indicates the name will be Fuji, and the menu lists sushi and hibachi as offerings. According to the menu, drive-through service will also be available at the location.
